GELSENKIRCHEN PLANT

GELSENKIRCHEN plant is located in the industrial area of the “Ruhrgebiet”, close to the leading brewing centres of Dortmund, Sauerland, Siegerland and Cologne where 20% of German brewing capacity is concentrated. The Rhine-Herne Canal connects the plant with the European system of waterways and the river Rhine. This allows flexible and efficient barley supply by barge and coaster. The major export seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam can be reached easily. The annual production capacity of 130,000 mt malt makes it the largest malthouse in Germany. The company’s Head Office is located on site.
