Quality Management And Laboratories

AVANGARD MALZ has a certified Quality Management System acc. to ISO9001 Standard. The production of by-products such as malt culms and feed barley, complies with IFSA rules which is verified by a certification acc. to IFIS standard and registration by the German organization Q&S.

Each plant has a fully equipped laboratory for common routine barley and malt analysis methods according to MEBAK and ANALYTICA EBC.
The central lab at Gelsenkirchen plant furthermore is equipped with a micro malting system and instruments for specialized analysis such as electrophoresis or ELISA. All laboratories participate in the ring checks organized by VLB Berlin and the MAPS schedule organized by LGC.
